Four Months - First Cold

Peter, after several weeks in his new daycare, has caught his first cold. I did not know that such a little baby could produce so many boogers! He had the cold for at least two weeks. We ended up taking him to the clinic on Friday night with a fever and he ended up on medicine to help him fight the cold. Andrew and I had to work together to get him to swallow the medicine. Despite the cold, he maintained a fairly good demeanor and his sleeping was not extremely effected. He was less active and playful, more sleepy and melancholy. He is over it now but I fear there is more to come with all his little baby friends getting sick. Now mommy and daddy have caught his cold too, yuck!

We got him an exersaucer and he LOVES it. He does get frustrated when he can't pull the toys off of the saucer and get them to his mouth. So we have to give him some loose toys to bang around. He is a very aggressive player! He likes to grab things, throw them around and bang them, he is very animated and fun to watch when he plays.
